Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Practice

My practice includes psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, medication management, and combination treatment, and I am comfortable addressing a diverse range of psychiatric challenges, including complex medical comorbidities. I offer in-person and virtual consultations from my office in Manhattan.

I employ a comprehensive and individualized approach to treatment, integrating various theoretical and biological models.

Practice and Philosophy

I was raised in the Pacific Northwest and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Pepperdine University, where I was class valedictorian. After college, I relocated to New York City to pursue my medical degree from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. I then completed psychiatry residency training at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine, and I served as chief resident. In 2025, I finished fellowship training in consultation-liaison psychiatry at NYU Langone Health, the Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Hospital in Manhattan, and Bellevue Hospital.

Presently, I am on faculty at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Transplant Institute, where I provide pre- and post-transplantation care to patients and supervise trainees. I am also pursuing additional psychotherapy and psychoanalytic training at the Columbia Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. I am board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and eligible for the consultation-liaison boards.
